St. Joseph College held Annual Parting Social program of class of 2024

EKHON | UKHRUL: St. Joseph College, Ukhrul celebrates the Annual Parting Social Programme for the outgoing final year students. The event was held at the college auditorium with great enthusiasm and active participation of the students and teachers creating happy memories.

The programme was organised by the 3rd Semester,1st Semester students and teachers in charge collaborating with the college Management.

The event aimed to celebrate the accomplishments, recognise the remarkable academic journey and bid a cheerful adieu to the outgoing students, also wishing them a great future. The event kicked off with the Farewell song by the 3rd Semester students.

Fr Fr. Parvis John, Principal gave special greetings to the final year students, batch of 2024 and motivated them with an enriching speech and also wished them good luck while Fr. Joseph Thohrii, Vice principal gave good wishes and prayers and spoke passionately on having courage. He asked the students to pursue their dreams aggressively and face the challenges courageously.

Dominic Thuisem Shingnaisui, Assistant Professor and Head of the Dept. of Economics gave a speech on behalf of the teaching faculty. He acknowledged the students’ accomplishments and wished them success in their future endeavours.

On behalf of the outgoing Students, Leiyaton Shimrah, Dept. of English shared her experiences and journey of her college life and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the institute and the teachers. She advised the juniors to be more responsible and work hard to never take it for granted. Rakmi L Shimray, Dept. of Social Work 3rd Semester spoke on behalf of the junior students wishing the seniors a great journey as they embark on the new beginning.

During the occasion, Lucky Student of the Year was picked and declared by Sister Regin, Vice Principal. The 65 Manipur NCC Girls Battalion, St. Joseph College, Unit, Ukhrul has also been awarded with rank confirming for 18 NCC Cadets, 2021-2024 batch.

The event was marked by gratitude and nostalgic feelings. The celebration ended in a cheerful mood with a fashion parade by the College Fashion Parade Team.
