Baby boy dies after retaining wall collapse in Ukhrul

EKHON | UKHRUL: A devastating incident in Ukhrul claims the life of a 1 year and 7 months old boy after a retaining wall gives way in the western part of Hamleikhong at around 4.00 pm today.

A tragic incident occurred at the residence of Hormi Lunghar from Tushar Village when a wall collapsed, trapping three children – two girls and a boy, Chishing Lunghar, aged one year and seven months – inside the house. According to the police report, the children were rushed to the district hospital, where the two girls received first aid and were discharged. Unfortunately, Chishing Lunghar succumbed to his injuries.
