Ukhrul, 7 September, 2025: In an effort to promote youth development through sports, Changvei officially launched its Free Football Coaching Programme for school students on 6th September 2025. The inaugural batch welcomed 70 enthusiastic students from St. George School and Central School, Ukhrul district.
The programme is designed to provide structured football training at no cost, creating opportunities for young learners to improve their athletic skills while fostering discipline, teamwork, and confidence. By focusing on both sportsmanship and personal growth, Changvei aims to empower students to excel in academics and extracurricular activities alike.
Speaking on the occasion, a Changvei representative stated:
“Our vision is to nurture young talent, encourage a healthy lifestyle, and create pathways for students who aspire to grow in sports. Football is more than a game—it builds character, teamwork, and resilience.”
The coaching sessions will be conducted by experienced trainers and mentors, with a curriculum that balances physical fitness, technical skills, and tactical awareness. The initiative also reflects Changvei’s broader commitment to youth empowerment, health, and community building.
