Amit Shah promises permanent solution in 15 days, claims ITLF

Imphal, 30 May, 2023: On its 2nd day of his three day visit in violence-hit Manipur, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has promised a permanent political solution to theI ndigenous Tribal Leaders’ Forum (ITLF) and CSOs of the Kuki-Mizo-Hmar-Zomi tribes.

Amit Shah held a series of meetings with women leaders, prominent people, civil society groups in both Imphal and Churachandpur district in Manipur. He is on a mission to help bring lasting peace in the violence-hit state.

As per a reliable source, ITLF has submitted an 11 point of demands, including demand for separate administration and to immediately impose President’s Rule in Manipur.

The meeting attended prominent centre leaders and several leaders from the community, including women leaders and student leaders was held at 27 sector Assam Rifles, Tuibong.
