D.EL.Ed, DIET Ukhrul Results Out, Counseling Schedule Announced

EKHON | UKHRUL: The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Ukhrul, has announced the selection list for admission to the 1st year D.El.Ed. (Pre-service) program, 21st batch, for the academic session 2024-2026. The selection is based on the merit list of candidates who appeared in the admission test held on August 18, 2024.

In a notification, Principal Esther Anal of District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Ukhrul has announced the counseling schedule for selected candidates. The counseling will take place on September 24-25, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at DIET Ukhrul. Failure to appear will lead to removal from selection list, with waitlisted candidates filling vacant seats as per merit list, it said.

Selected candidates are asked to attend the counseling physically with the required documents.

  • Original mark sheets and certificates of Class X and XII (with one Xerox copy each)
  • Original ST/SC/OBC/PWD certificate
  • Original Aadhar card
  • 2 passport-size and 2 stamp-size photos
  • Admission Fee: ₹8,000

According to DIET, a total of 50 candidates from various categories, including unreserved, Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Persons with Disabilities (PWD), have been selected as per the government’s quota system.
