EKHON | UKHRUL: Four candidates have submitted their nomination papers today for the Presidential Election of the Tangkhul apex body, Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL), the polling of which is scheduled to be held on May 22, 2024.
S.A. Ramnganing, Yangmi Khapai, Sword Vashum and Vareishang Zingkhai submitted their papers to the TNL Chief Election Commissioner. The candidates were accompanied by their ardent supporters.
As per the election notification, the nomination will be scrutinized on May 16 and the last date for withdrawal of candidature has been being fixed on May 18, 2024. Meanwhile, a public platform for each candidate will be given on May 21, just ahead of the polling on May 22, 2024.
