Ukhrul, Manipur: As the countdown to Ato Kilonser Th. Muivah’s homecoming begins, the Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS), the apex students’ body, is actively involved in preparations for the grand welcome. TKS President Ramreichan Keishing shared that schools under their jurisdiction in Ukhrul and Kamjong districts will participate in the celebrations.
“We’re mobilizing students through hoarding installations, zonal meetings, and discussions with school authorities,” Keishing said. “We appeal to all students and the public to join this historic occasion.”
Students from various schools expressed excitement about meeting Th. Muivah, sharing their knowledge about his contributions. Many eagerly look forward to thanking “Avakharar” for his dedicated service.
Ato Kilonser Th. Muivah is set to arrive in Ukhrul on October 22nd. A brief Homecoming Ceremony will be held at the Ukhrul Headquarter Ground at 11:00 AM. Following the ceremony, he will proceed to his native village, Somdal.
