TNL-WC Condemns Kangpokpi Ambush, Urges Restraint

Date:

Ukhrul | EKHON: The Working Committee of the Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL-WC) has strongly condemned the ambush on leaders of the Thadou Baptist Association (TBA) on Wednesday, describing the incident as a “brutal and cold-blooded attack”.

Amid the sensitive ethnic situation in Manipur, the Tangkhul Naga body has urged organisations and individuals not to make allegations against any community without verified evidence.

In a statement, the TNL-WC cautioned that assigning blame prematurely could further strain inter-community relations and worsen tensions in the region. The committee stressed the need for restraint, responsible public discourse, and efforts to preserve the fragile harmony among communities.
