In Pic: Nagas across Border observes 77th Naga Independence Day

Ekhon | Ukhrul 14 Aug 2023: On the eve of India’s Independence Day, Nagas across Border asserted their Independence by observing Naga Independence Day.

In Ukhrul Maj. Retd Hutovi Chishi Swu member of Collective leadership of NSCN-IM hoisted the Naga national flag in the presence of thousands at UBC, Jubilee hall Phungreitang, Ukhrul.

K. Chisi Swu S/o Late Isaac Swu chairman NSCN IM, Kilonser, Deputy Kilonser attended the celebration programme.

While the rest of India is affected by the wave of Indian PM Modi’s campaign for Har Ghar Tiranga, Nagas on this day hoists the rainbow color Naga flag as a mark of nationalism.

A ‘RIDE FOR NAGALIM’ parade within Ukhrul Town to mark the 77th Naga Independence Day.
