St Joseph College hosts Cultural Day to imbibe sense of culture

EKHON | UKHRUL: St Joseph College, Ukhrul hosted a Cultural day on the third day of its College Week by hosting various cultural competitions such as folk song, folk dance, and football. Omri Ningshen, Vice President of Tangkhul student apex body, Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS) and Wungsorin Ragui, President, Hunphun Katamnao Long graced the cultural event that was aimed at imbibing sense of culture to the students.

Omri Ningshen encouraged the students to “foster growth-oriented thinking” and to “believe in one’s own creative vision,” and, additionally, the President of HKL entreated the students to “take on the responsibility of the community and refrain from substance abuse” in their respective speeches.

Elders from Hunphun Khanuithot Cultural Research Forum made their presence as judges for cultural competitions.

Embracing the College Week 2023 theme “Inspire a Generation”, the college continues the Week-long celebration with passionate and well spirited competition to emerge as champion.
