Imphal, July 31 | EKHON: The National People’s Party (NPP) has appointed Yarmungchan Zimik as an Executive Member of the party, marking a significant addition to its organisational team in Manipur.
Zimik, who previously served as Public Relations Officer (PRO) to former Outer Manipur MP Lorho S. Pfoze, brings experience in public relations, political communication and organisational affairs. His appointment is expected to further strengthen the NPP’s outreach and organisational presence, particularly in the hill regions of Manipur.
It may be recalled that former MP Lorho S. Pfoze formally joined the National People’s Party (NPP) in September last year, further strengthening the party’s political presence in the state’s hill areas.
The youngster’s induction comes as part of the party’s continuing efforts to expand and consolidate its organisational network across Manipur. With his experience and familiarity with the hill areas, Zimik is expected to play a constructive role in strengthening communication between the party and the people.
Welcoming Zimik into the new responsibility, party supporters expressed confidence that his contribution would help advance the NPP’s organisational activities and its engagement with communities across the state.
