Application invited for Candidates for admission to D.El.Ed Course at 9 DIET Centers

EKHON | IMPHAL: As per No. 18/77/2012-SCERT/DIET(Misc.) (Pt.1) notification from Dr. A. Chinglenkhomba Meetei, Director of SCERT, Manipur, Online/Offline applications are invited from the intending Candidates for admission to the 2(two) years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) Course to the 9 (Nine) DIET centers viz. Imphal West DIET, Imphal East DIET, Kakching DIET, Churachandpur DIET, Moirang DIET, Senapati DIET, Chandel DIET, Ukhrul DIET and Tamei DIET & also for 2 (two) years Diploma in Elementary Education course (Hindi) to Hindi Teachers Training Institute (HTTI) Imphal for academic Session 2023-25. Submission of offline/online application to the respective DIET center/ HTTI commenced from 24th November, 2023 and last date of submission will be on 8th December 2023.

Eligible Candidates may apply only at one DIET center/ HTTI online through their Respective website of the DIET/ HTTI or offline as per their choice. The details of the DIET center/ HTTI Including intake capacity, and website are given below:

2. Eligibility: i) D.El.Ed course: 10+2 pass or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks for General and 45% Marks for OBC, SC/ST from recognized Board/Council. ii) D.El.Ed. Course (Hindi): – 10+2 pass with Hindi as elective subject or M.I.L. OR pass 10+2 examination along with Kovid with minimum 50% marks for General and 45% marks for OBC/SC/ST from a recognized Board/ Council.
3. Reservation of seats shall be as State Reservation rule of admission. UR – 50%, ST- 31%, SC 2%, OBC-17% and PWD – Due consideration would be given.
4. Selection to the above course will be strictly based on marks of the 10th and 12th classes with a Weightage of 20% from class 10th and 80% from class 12th respectively.
5. Documents to be submitted (to be attested by gazetted officer):
   i) Class X passed certificate and marksheet.
   ii) Class XII certificate and marksheet
   iii) Aadhar card
   iv) ST/SC/PWD certificate (if any).
